We honor Mr Al Gilbert, the “Pied Piper of Dance” & founder of Stepping Tones (1952), which today is known as MusicWorks. He was a dance visionary, poet, entertainer, teacher, studio owner, choreographer, author, entrepreneur, humanitarian, dance teacher advocate and a true gentleman.
He revolutionized the dance industry in 1971 when he created the first Training Aid, and the rest is history! In1994 he released his 1,000th original song & dance Training Aid and grade 9 Advanced Tap Technique. He went on to produce Dance Teacher Seminars, now known as DANCE TEACHER CONNECTION.
MusicWorks takes great pride in paying tribute its founder, Mr Al Gilbert. We will continue to do our very best to honor him & his lifetime work by providing the very best “Dance Teacher Support” to Teachers of Dance across the world.
He was my friend, my teacher, my mentor and my champion. Because of Mr Gilbert, we at MusicWorks are able to provide stellar teaching materials & products and present the premier dance teacher seminar, DANCE TEACHER CONNECTION (DTC).
